I watched The NBC video yesterday, due to Ken having it as a Spongie special in The Den. (Thank you for sharing). I live in England, and I used to attend Liverpool Football Club in the sixties and seventies at Anfield Football ground. The memories will always be with me. Standing in The Spion Kop, singing on the terraces, and queuing to pay to get in. My earliest games I watched, was the reserves in the boys pen when I was 8 years old. My uncle (my mums brother), he was a Everton fan. He would drop me off, watch me enter the ground to the boys pen, ( a small area sectioned off for the youths), then cut across Stanley public park to get to Goodison. The reason I am telling you this tale/story is, you need to take your youngsters , children, grand children, nieces and nephews to a Chicago Bears game at Soldier Field, this season, the next season and the probably last season. WHY? So they can, not only share the experience with you, but have the experience. The memory of what it was like to attend Soldier Field. Tail gating, has to be a big large part of this. Watching from different parts of the stadium so they can remember what it was like to watch the game , then. I am glad I managed to attend Soldier Field before it was improved 1997. Then I have managed to attend three games at the improved Soldier Field. I can take them memories with me, and enjoy the experience I have had. I can sit down with my grand son and explain what it was like to go to a first division game prior to it becoming a Premier League game, and that we stood to watch a game. Doing this would give the youth the memories they can share with their youngsters
